I can't believe I'm setting up a blog! Next thing you know I'll actually be attempting to send a text message to my husband. I never thought I'd do this stuff until my kids were teenagers and I was forced to just to communicate with them. But, here I am, a little earlier than anticipated... blogging. By the way, the fact that I even typed these words makes me feel old - kinda like how my parents generation still can barely grasp sending an email or navigating the internet. Yikes - now it's me. Oh well.... better late than never.
I am setting up this blog to make it easy to share my jewelry creations with the world. I design and make jewelry (necklace and bracelet sets) for young girls. So far, my creations have been designed to fit girls between the ages of 1 and 5 years old - give or take a little depending on their size. I love to create that something extra that puts an adorable outfit over the top or takes a boring denim dress and makes it unique or takes a good ol' jeans and t-shirt combo and makes it really funky. Even more than creating them, I love to see them on my precious little girls. I have 2. I also have a new precious little boy - but I haven't ventured into the world of boy designs yet.
I starting creating my jewelry for my first born daughter when she was just over two years old. Truth be told, she couldn't wear them as fast as I was making them - I was a jewelry making machine! I think I love making the jewelry so much because when I am creating cuteness with beads I am thinking about nothing else other than my creation. For those of you with young children out there you probably understand perfectly when I say that is it nice just to turn my brain off of mommy stuff.
So... this is my blog about my jewelry creations which I have lovingly named "The Cute Factor".
Enjoy!
ps. I'll post some photo's soon so stay tuned!
